Aloha! I was born and raised in Hilo on the island of Hawai'i. I started band in the 7th grade on was placed on flute, which has been my primary instrument ever since. After taking one year of community college courses to get some general education credits out of the way, I moved to the island of O'ahu to attend the University of Hawai'i at Manoa. After earning my Bachelor's of Education in Music in the spring of 2022, I moved back to the Big Island to serve the community I grew up in. I was fortunate enough to be selected for the band director position at Kea'au Middle School in the fall of that same year and I have been teaching there ever since.

I am an active musician on the Big Island, serving as the flute section leader in the Hawai'i County Band. I also sub for the Kamuela Philharmonic Orchestra on the west side of the island. My main hobby is playing online games, with my current fixation being the critically-acclaimed MMORPG, Final Fantasy XIV.
